Background
William grew up in Shanghai City, China, where he obtained a law degree. William moved to New Zealand in 2011. He completed his New Zealand law degree with first class Honours at the University of Waikato. William and his wife have a son Kevin born in Hamilton. They moved to Gisborne permanently in 2016 and love the people and the weather.
William started working for Woodward Chrisp as a summer clerk in 2015. He has joined the firm as a full-time solicitor having been admitted to the Bar at the Gisborne High Court on 7 July 2016. William is currently working in the litigation team.
William speaks Mandarin, is learning Cantonese and Maori and maintains close links with the Chinese community.
Interests
Outside work, William enjoys spending time travelling with family.
