Manaaki Terekia Admission

Manaaki Terekia (centre) is a local Gisborne boy who has come back to Gisborne to live and practice law. 
Manaaki was head prefect at Gisborne Boys High in 2009 and completed his law degree and an arts degree from Victoria University in 2014.  He was President of the Māori Law Students Society for Victoria University in 2014.

Manaaki was admitted to the bar at a ceremony at the High Court in Gisborne on 23 July 2015.  Moving counsel was Woodward Chrisp Partner Jeff Allen (right) and His Honour Justice Lang (left) presided.
